With the development of the Educational Technology and the intense communication and cooperation of the international academy, it is required more strictly on the language ability for the scholars and learners from this field, which is meanwhile a pedagogical challenge for the professional English of Educational Technology. Based on the blossom the rapid growth of Open Educational Resources, it makes a possibility for the public from all over the world to gain the educational instructions through the internet instead of being disturbed by the geology. A great deal of advanced opening pedagogical sources is from the America and Europe, which inspired the constructors to bring these sources into their own classes, and from one hand it can make students get the professional knowledge from other countries and the original English edition of learning materials can help guarantee the credibility and professionalization of improving the English ability about this major from another hand.In this investigation, the data and materials are collected during the selective course of professional English of Educational Technology, classroom attended by the junior from Shaanxi Normal University, majoring in Educational Technology, applying the methodology of observation, interview, questionnaire and comparison. After a half year’s investigation, based on the conclusion of the data and materials, the author try to indicate the effect and identify the problem when the opening educational sources is employed in the instruction of professional English of Educational Technology in the classroom.. This study can also reflect the confusion, preference and perspectives of the students about the learning materials and educational methodology of this course. It is hopeful to help build the ESL teaching instructions.The thesis is organized into five chapters.Chapter I is the introduction section which offers the research background, conceptions about Open Educational Resources, the present ESL teaching instructions in China, and the purposes and significance of this study.Chapter II gives a brief introduction about the application of opening educational sources in English instruction on major Educational Technology, including the inquiry in the early stage of the study and how do teachers chose the teaching material and methodology. The author applies qualitative research in chapter Ⅲ, consisting of the concrete process of observation and interview, and offers generalization, categorization and conclusion of the collected data.Chapter Ⅳ is occupied by quantitative research, including the design of the questionnaire and experiments and analysis of the data.Chapter Ⅴ is the section of results and discussion, in which the author offers the advices about the main issue raised in this study based on the application of opening educational resources in teaching classroom of professional English of Educational Technology course.The investigation identify the finding that it is accepted that the employment of the opening educational resources from foreign countries, and there is an obvious difference between two groups of data collected before and after the semester, while the difference of reading is not so obvious as the former. At the same time, the study gives out the discussion and consideration about the content, teaching target and organization of the opening educational resources’application. In the end, based on the previous study, this investigation points out the reuse model of Open Educational Resources, combining this experiment, and it is hopeful to give the help to the after research.
