Language is the carrier of culture and the language of each nation represent its own culture. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the cultural meaning implied in the verbal structure while learning a certain language.As second language teaching, Chinese language teaching should include Chinese culture teaching. Culture learning not only relies on language learning, but also enhance the efficiency of language learning. The two complement each other. At present, it has been generally recognized In the field of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language that culture teaching is necessary in language teaching. However, it still remains a question that in which stage should we carry out culture teaching or say to what extent should we conduct culture teaching in the language teaching process."Speaking" is the core and fundamental part in language learning. For beginners with low Chinese level, speaking depends largely on the imitation of the teaching materials. A good Chinese teaching material for foreigners can not only arouse learners’ interest in learning, but also show them the cultural context such as the Chinese habit of thinking, way of expressing, ethical concept and value orientation.Therefore, the cultural content in the teaching material should be properly arranged, especially in the proper amount. Learning too much cultural content in the beginning period will take the necessary time of language learning, so that the language leaning will be too slow; while the ignorance of cultural content will cause the lack of cultural knowledge implied in the language and lead to misunderstandings, affecting normal communication.This article takes<Developing Chinese-Elementary Spoken Chinese> as a research material, name the cultural content implied in the textbooks "the implied culture" and defined it. We mainly focus on the analysis of the implied culture of the verbal and text topic level in the elementary spoken Chinese textbook. At the same time, with spoken Chinese teaching combined, put forward the teaching principles and methods of "the implied culture". Thus points out that the relationship between language and culture should be "inter-permeate" and "inter-embrace" in the elementary spoken Chinese teaching materials. This arrangement can help beginners learn the expressions in daily communication more quickly and help them with the discovery and acquisition of the implied culture in the process of language learning.The innovation of this paper include the following aspects:1. In this paper, we put forward the definition of "the implied culture", that is the cultural factors implied in the elementary spoken Chinese teaching material.2. We take<Developing Chinese-Elementary Spoken Chinese> as a research material, analyzed the implied culture in the elementary spoken Chinese textbook of the verbal and text topic level.3. According to the teaching material, we advanced three principles on the arrangement of the topics.4. In the final part of the paper, we combine the teaching material and teaching process, put forward several teaching methods of the implied culture.Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language is not only teaching the language, but also teaching the culture. It will be our future research difficulty that how to import the implied culture materials properly and purposefully in the process of language teaching, especially in the spoken teaching in elementary stage. And this is the inadequacies of the paper on the perspective of search.
