Each kind of literature style has its own flavor. The style is the most important element in studying and appreciating poems and lyrics. It is the sedimentary and leakage of the author’s private experiences, thoughts and feelings, personality and temperament, as well as era background in the works. Grasping author’s style accurately is the best way to the author’s heart; and comparing each author’s style comprehensively is the readers’ interpretation distinctively to them by integrating the history and reality.Jiang Kui and Shi Dazhu, as the famous lyrics authors in the late Song Dynasty, were evaluated by many chronicles lyrics experts. Especially Jiang Kui, was evaluated by Zhang Yan’s as clear and pure, which was inherited basically by others, or had some innovation.Although those summaries can help us to understand the era coordinates of the authors in the long history of lyric creation, the author’s unique artistic characters should never be replaced and neglect. Shi Dazhu supports to have his own status in South Song lyric scene, so Jiang Kui and Shi Dazhu’s lyrics will be as the main research object. The thesis will start with the most representative character, and then analyze the similarities and differences between the two authors’works, compare the two kinds of types and writing techniques. Reconfirm their status and contributions to the south Song lyric scene through trying to explore the internal and external factors how the similarities and differences of their characters formed. The whole thesis contains six parts.Preface:basic on the brief comment of Jiang Kui and Shi Dazhu themselves and their lyrics, analyze the thesis’s origin, the current situation of the research at home and abroad, as well as the significance. Their living periods were undertaken, and their experiences were also similar to each other. The variety reviews to them were mixed. As the transferring and promoting of the modern concept of academic research, it is positively significant to compare their lyrics.The first chapter is aimed at analyzing the similarities of their styles, which are gloomy and rhythmic. On the one hand, analyzes their gloomy style through starting with the lyric themes and combining their thinking experiences and the separation of family as well as the groaning of their lives. One the other hand, excavates the rhythmic technique through their tortuous and regressive organizations, the properly compact distributions, and the appropriate forms.The second chapter is aimed at analyzing the differences of their styles. They are well known of Jiang Kui’s "clear and purl" and Shi Dazhu’s "delicate and pretty". The thesis will be expanded on the basis of the previous discourses, grasp the differences of their lyric intentions, and try to analyze the clearness, pureness, mistiness, and sharpness of Jiang Kui’s lyrics and the pretty, bright, denseness, and magic of Shi Dazhu’s lyrics through the change and choice of the intentions as well as the characteristics of the colors.The third chapter is aimed at analyzing the most important chanting lyrics basic on thesimilarities and differences of their styles. Appreciate how they can keep their own unique features while both getting the high achievement through their creative attitudes and descriptive methods in the developing courses of the chanting lyrics.The fourth chapter is aimed at analyzing the reasons why the similarities and differences of their lyric styles were interwoven with each other. Summarize the reason how their styles formed into through the external factors such as the environment, personal experiences as well as individual state, and the internal factor of the different focus of the previous authors.Conclusion:Jiang Kui and Shi Dazhu’s status should not be ignored in the lyric history of south Song. As their unique styles enriched the lyric scene in south Song, Their lyrics had a profound influence on later generations.
