Self-exploration is an important issue for human development everywhere at once from individual to individual, it can not be like other items, the end of good, or placed on the table in a different time and space to observe the seminar."I" there is a mysterious attractive topic, how to define "I", from the mirror image? From the evaluation of others? Or from self-reflection?"I" concept is from when separated from where? Gave birth to "the original birthplace of where?"I" is a natural person or a society or, after exposure to different groups, while the family is "my life has been integrated into social groups, organizations, and this group of others interactive activities,"cognitive and concepts on their own, and thus the basis for the development. College life is an important stage of personal growth, college students about self-exploration on the future development has an important guiding function.This study used questionnaires and other methods, Sichuan Normal University undergraduate freshman Tai three a total of400students as subjects, the Tennessee Self Concept Scale, the parent-child attachment scale and family cohesion and adaptability scales as a measurement tool to explore Students self-concept of family factors in the development process to discuss the relationship between the college students self-concept of parent-child relationship and family functioning. The results show that:A. Students self-concept development as a whole no significant difference. Two. The development of students’self-concept because of their different levels of parent-child attachment relationship, showing significant difference in the quality of parent-child attachment relationship was to score higher on positive self-concept. Low-quality parent-child attachment relationship self-concept is more negative.3. Different family functioning level affect the quality of parent-child attachment relationship, family functioning score higher results were on the dimensions of communication and trust of the parent-child attachment, and lower scores on the alienation dimension. Family functioning results were poor communication and trust dimensions of parent-child attachment lower scores and higher scores on the alienation dimension, family functioning results moderate on the score between two between.4. Different family functioning results affect the level of individual self-concept development, high grouping were more positive self-concept, low-score group were more negative self-concept. Family functioning in reality to adapt to the trust factor of the dimension and the dimension of intimacy, as well as parent-child attachment variables on the students self-concept level to better predict the effect.
