Over years, researchers have always been focusing on the description of the speech sound. The sound of dialect being studied as a relatively independent system, it becomes riper and riper. Comparably speaking, the attention paid to dialect vocabulary study is obviously not enough, which makes this kind of study not so important. The main points of the article lie in the description of dialect vocabulary, which is helpful to explore Xinye dialect compeletly and systematicly.The article mainly analyzes the characteristics of the Xinye dialect vocabulary and its evolution regulations from the static-and-dynamic view and the diachronic-and-synchronic theory through the comparison with the people common language. Meanwhile we make an attempt to study the culture behind Xinye dialect basing on the research into Xinye dialect vocabulary, expecting to get a clear and complete thought of Xinye dialect itself.There are six chapters in total. The preface mainly states the value and meaning of the title, as well as the analyses on the situation of Xinye dialect study. Finally it points out the stress of the whole text and the direction of the research.The first chapter generally talks about Xinye ranging from location, population and history to the basic characteristics of Xinye dialect, which offers a base for the research into Xinye dialect.The second chapter mainly analyzes the word-formation and its grammar characteristics of Xinye dialect vocabulary from the static-and-dynamic aspect, involved in the description on the characteristics of Xinye dialect word-formation, form-formation and the grammar.The third chapter generally concerns the meaning characteristics of Xinye dialect vocabulary in three aspects:lexical meaning、grammatical meaning and colourful meaning.The fourth chapter focuses on the evolution and development of Xinye dialect from the dynamic aspect, based on which predictions about Xinye dialect future are made. By comparing Xinye dialect with people common language and the evolution of itself, we know the figures and regulations of Xinye dialect, basing on which we predict Xinye dialect’ future trend. This is the most essential part of the whole text.The fifth chapter studies and explores the culture behind Xinye dialect vocabulary from places names of Xinye, taboos, saying and two-part sayings three aspects to have a good knowledge of Xinye dialect.The sixth chapter is meant for emphasing the recognition of Xinye dialect. We make a list of some Xinye dialect words which are frequently used to reflect the historic features of Xinye dialect.This article fastens on the objective description and analysis of Xinye dialect from the static-and-dynamic aspect and the diachronic-and-synchronic aspect, aiming to make few contributions to the research into Xinye dialect vocabulary.
