Chuguangxi Poetry Collation

Chu Guangyi, the style is unknown, Yanling. Born in706, about in the second year of Shenlong, Zhongzong, died after763which was about the second year of guangde, Daizong. Chu Guangyi was considered as a landscape and pastoral poet in the flouring period of Tang Dynasty. His existing poems are128, which is sixty-five percent of all poems in his field. His poems contributed a lot to landscape and pastoral development.Chu Guangyi left his hometown for Chang’an in723. He felt twice in the imperial examination, but passed it in the fourth year of Kaiyuan. He had successively held the posts of conty Wei in Fengyi, Sishui, Anyi and Xiagui. But he was being underutilized during that period, so he resigned home in733. He came back to Chang’an and lived as a recluse in Zhongnan Mountains. He wrote plenty of poems in landscape and pastoral to express his feelings as a recluse. In747, Chu Guangyi came back and became the Taizhu, then Monitoring Yushi. The An Lushan Rebellion broke out in the fourth year of Tianbao, the poet was forced to become pseudo-level, but he escaped in757, from Luoyang, Hanshui, then to Qin. After Chang’an was recovered, he was put in prison because of the pseudo-level. He was degraded to the south in December,757. He was pardoned in762, died in763, which was the second year of Guangde.The academia has got great successes in Chu Guangyi’s life and poem study, but not in his poetries collating and annotating. There are227poems in Quan Tang Shi from book136to139, but one missed in Tang Wushi Jia Poem.This paper mainly divided into three parts. Chapter one divided to four sections, and the mainly research is on Chu Guangyi’s life and poems creation. Chapter two is about the poems collating and annotating, and collected the one which missed in Tang Wushi Jia Poem. Chapter three is bibliography.As we know, Chu Guangyi’s poetries collating and annotating still need further study, the paper aimed at through collating and annotating to provide a complete Chu Guangyi Poem Collection to academia, and discussed few further questions on his life and creation which based on predecessors’study.
