The New Century Chinese New Words

Language is one of the most important tools of social communication, it develops with the development of the society. Researching new words is the key link that will help us get to point of changes and development in modern society. Therefore, researching new words is a very important thing. In this thesis, we analyzed and reviewed the current situation of new words, in order to investigate thebackground, characteristic,aspects of education and value of new words on this basis.Economic development has been speeded up remarkably in China, there are lots of new words in Chinese language. In fact, many foreigners have a great distance off new words, because they only know old words. Then, new word is a mirror of the society and social aspects in the past10years. Chinese learners can understand the knowledge and culture of China through the new words. Further, they could communicate with Chinese people directly, and freely. Guidance of new words is non-institutional and novel theory, and still not in practice. We focuson effect of teaching and mentoring program. We investigated the foreigners who study Chinese, with the purpose of founding the necessity and practically mentoring program of new words.This paper was divided into four chapters, the main content of the chapterswere as follows:The introduction part of the1chapter firstly figured out the purpose and sence of the new words study after the new century. Then, we carefully analyzedthe advanced research and development trends of the new words study. Moreover,selected data collection methods and the research methods, the research object of this paper.Chapter2illuminated theoretical background of new words after the new ce ntury. That is, to understood the causes of the new words. According to the causes, the new words were mainly divided into social and cultural reasons, the developed science and technology reasons, and analysis the two aspects of the content with examples.Next, chapter3would explain the characteristics of new words after the new century,.Section1was about the content of the new words, which was mainly divided into politics, economy, life, science, culture, network, education and current events, and illustrated the special features of new words respectively with examples. Section2was about the features of the new words structure form, withspecific investigation the way of appear and the construction of all kinds of form of the new words, Section3was investigated the abbreviations phenomenon of the new words and its related abbreviations.Chapter4was clarified the necessity of learning new words and how to choose the needful new words and more efficient guidelines. This chapter was investigated how to apply the new words in the actual teaching and how to provideChinese related problem solution in the future.This paper has done further research with the characteristics of new words basedonthe existing language and in the viewpoints of the sociology of language is based on thenew characteristics of words, and found the new words of systemic guidelines andmeaning. Looking forward to the new words in learning and research providesourpygmy effort.
