Tang Dynasty is not only an important national integration period in Chinese history but the period of the introduction of foreign culture. During this period, the grape decorations who was absorbed form foreign culture and fused in the local Chinese decorative patterns, produced one of the important influences in Chinese cultural factors. After the transformation of the Chinese craftsmen, it adapt to the decoration of Chinese style. This is important to the research of cultural exchanges between China and West. This article attempts to get further research on the grape decoration of the bronze mirrors, through the existed Archaeological discoveries and archaeological discoveries.The article is mainly about the bronze mirrors, found in the territory of China in the Tang Dynasty (AD618——907).The bronze mirrors with grape decoration are totally called grape mirrors, which includes typical grape mirrors, and other mirrors with grape vines and fruits. The article first outlines the evolution of grape titles, the introduction of vines and wine, and the introduction of grapes grown in the Mainland to promote and Wine surgery. Then, do the classification on the grape mirrors, who are divided into four types, each type is then was divided into a number of style according to the different grape decoration on the mirror back. This is divided into four phases. Last, observe the evolving relationship of the grape pattern. And do the comparison between grape pattern and the gold and silver of Tang Dynasty, stone carvings, silk, tomb murals, grape patterns in the caves, to identify the inheritance relationship. The first important is do the comparison between Bronze Mirror grape pattern with contemporary West Asia, Central Asia archaeological finds of the grape pattern to identify the reference and relationship, and seek to reveal the status of the Tang Dynasty and Western cultural exchange from a micro level.
