Chan-Ba region is located in the eastern of Xi’an.It is distributed from south bank of Weihe River to Qinling,which east the Bahe right bank of the east edge of and the west Chanhe left bank order to the western margin. The history of climate, vegetation and other natural changes in the environment of this region Guan Zhong as a whole. Becanse the territory of the Chanhe river and Bahe river were dihydrated by the natural environment and human factors,the river presented the westward movement of the cut-up trend. The river gradually reduced the amount of water,at the same time, sediment concentration increased. The Chan-Ba history of the region was the interchange of three avenue-Hangu Pass (the Tong guan) road,Wu Guan road, Pu Jin Guan road, that the three avenue was very important in the east of Chang’an. Chang’an’s eastern traffic throat-Baqiao was located here. Important waterway channel was through Chan-Ba region,moreover,water transport pier Guangyun pool also located in the area. Combined with the region set a large number of Post Stations institutions.Therefore,its traffic position was very important.Chan-Ba region was the important barrier of Chang-an important barrier,a number of military events happened here. Ba-shang is located in both sides of the Bahe river near the Baqiao,which position was more critical. So it has always been contested.Therefore, Chan-Ba region also has an important military position. In addition,the area is the source of the culture in the Guanzhong,where the birth of the Guanzhong is the earliest known Paleolithic culture and the most prosperous Neolithic culture,and since the old times so far have been human activity in this region,making its culture to be a continuation of innovation. Because of the long-term human activity,there were unique cultural forms and rich cultural connotations in the area.
