The purpose of this study is through the life education subject group counseling activitiesfor adolescents, so that they can in the sense of self, interpersonal relationships, parent-childrelationship, dealing with setbacks and the value of life awareness be raised. At the same time tolet them know, life is a journey from the inside to outside, from self to others. This study usedquantitative analysis and implementation method.In the quantitative analysis, this study employs the experimental group and reference groupof pretest-posttest design. On life education group counseling before the start of the event, thesubjects was performed pretest, then the experimental group performed2times per week, for12times of group counseling activities, but the reference group without intervention. After theactivity, all of the subjects were tested. Through between group and within group comparisons ofthe before and after test of the experimental group and the reference group, we can be drawn thefollowing conclusions:Life education group counseling for adolescents’ self-awareness to improve andinterpersonal relationship have positive result, experimental pretest-posttest effect wassignificant difference, and reference groups have remarkable difference.Life education group counseling for adolescent coping frustration has positive effect,experimental pretest-posttest effect was significant difference compared with the reference group,there was significant difference.Life education group counseling for teenagers’ life value improvement have positive effect,experimental pretest-posttest effect was significant difference compared with the reference group,there was significant difference.In the whole process of youth activities, the enthusiasm of the activities of higher, activityfeedback is very good also, so life education group counseling for adolescents’ life consciousness,dealing with setbacks, self-value cognition all have played a good effect, achieve the expectedgoal.On qualitative analysis of life education group counseling activities, the activities areretained in the text and drawing materials were summarized, the conclusion is as follows:Youth for understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of self, the value ofself-understanding have deepened.Youth understand to parents and enhance the Thanksgiving, the feelings cannot express pastexpressed by activities now.Adolescents in the face of setbacks coping also had their own understanding, and can betaken the right measures, and maintain a good state of mind.Adolescents’ harvest in the process of group counseling: recognize oneself, gain confidence, learning to be Thanksgiving parents and friends, know how to face setbacks, understand thevalue of life.The research on life education and counseling are combined together, and to carry outresearch in the young people, obtained the anticipated effect, is a good try of the life education inChina.Life education group counseling has an obvious effect, made good evaluation betweenteachers and students, and is suitable for teenagers to carry out.
