With the depth of quality education to carry out psychological health education to allow students to form optimistic attitude towards life, life satisfaction research has become a hot topic of positive psychology research.Students from one of the Tanggu junior middle schools in Tianjin are chosen as participants in the present study to analyze the relationship among personality trait,social support and life satisfaction,and methods of improving life satisfaction. There are337students chosen at random as participants in three grades, nine classes. The present study adopts a academic scale and two questionnaires. They are Eysenck Personality Questionnaire(child version), Questionnaire of Middle School Student on Social Support by Mu Hongwei and Zheng Xue, Adoleseen Students on General Life Satisfaction Sclae by Zhang Xinggui.337questionnaires were distributed, while316replies were valid(93.7%).Here are the results:1. There is significant correlation between the social support and life satisfaction. There exists significant positive correlation between the two factors of social support, emotionality support, the utilization of support and the five factors of life satisfaction,friend satisfaction, family satisfaction, school satisfaction, satisfaction of freedom, environment satisfaction; Obvious positive relationship between one factor of social support, support of respect and the five factors of life satisfaction,friend satisfaction, family satisfaction, school satisfaction, satisfaction of freedom, environment satisfaction, academic satisfaction.2. There is significant relationship between the personality trait and life satisfaction. Positive correlation can be observed between one factor of personality trait, extroversion and friend satisfaction, family satisfaction, school satisfaction, satisfaction of freedom, environment satisfaction; Obvious negative relationship between psychoticism, neuroticism and friend satisfaction, family satisfaction, school satisfaction, satisfaction of freedom, environment satisfaction, school work satisfaction.3. There is significant relationship between the social support and personality trait, there exits significant correlation between emotionality, the utilization of support, peer support and introversion-extroversion, psychoticism, neuroticism, respect has prominent relationship with extroversion, neuroticism.
