This paper is trying to find out why music of Tang Dynasty can be popular in that period, and why the poems about music can also popular at that time。And finally find out the real meaning of poems about music.There are five chapters of<research of poems about music>. The first chapter is called system. I introduce poems about music briefly and these poems’significance. The second chapter mainly analyses the poems which describe musical instrument. Chapter three mainly discusses the creative method of poems about music. Chapter four discussed why the poems about music can also popular at that time. This chapter includes2parts, the first part is trying to find out why music of Tang Dynasty can be popular in that period; the second part is trying to find out the motivation of poets writing. Chapter five is summing-up. This chapter is trying to find out the significance of poems about music in Tang Dynasty in culture’s communion.The innovation in this paper is contradicting some views in academe. Some academician thought poems about music has big localization, and not only limit the area of creation, but also difficult to create great poems. So this paper used a lot of examples to contradict this view. The example proved that poems about music not only carve out the area of creation, give poets new inspirations, but also have some new way to create poems about music, and had a lot of great poems. Besides that, poems about music have values both in literary and historical. And it’s also good for culture’s spreading. This paper is trying to analyses the reasons and meanings of poems of music, trying to contradict some views in academe, and add some serviceable view and information for the research about poems of music.
