This article is aimed to explore the exact target of drama major education incomprehensive university. The author believes that the universities offeringdrama major is the inevitable result of Chinese higher education developing,but there is a lack of reasonable of existing models and orientations.Analyze the unreasonable issues to look for the basis of orientation.Starting from the mission, social needs and conditions, referring thepractices of other countries and areas, the orientation of drama education incomprehensive university should be: educating and inheriting the dramaculture, meeting the social demands of comprehensive drama talents. Alsothe author pointed out the way of possibilities of implementation.
