The conflict between the Soviet Union and the Yugoslavia in the20th century is one of theimportant events in international relations.After the second world war, Soviet union made thesocialist system which born in the Soviet union to many allied countries in eastern Europe, andestablished a series of socialist regime. After the outbreak of the cold war, the socialist countriesformed a faction, to resist the United States,which is the rival of the capitalist countries.However, the communist Allies are not stand long.In1948, Yugoslavia,which was considered asthe most loyal alliance had a fierce conflict with the Soviet union. It proved that the closelycommunist Allies is just a myth.In the international communist movement, the conflict between the Soviet Union andthe Yugoslavia was the first big split, it is also a tragedy to the whole international communistmovement. Previous scholars often analysis the conflict limited in the framework of theinternational communist movement, this paper argues that there is a close relationship betweenthe conflict and the cold war, so we should put the conflict under the background of the cold war.This is largely because, one of the major factor in the conflict between the Soviet Union and theYugoslavia is that why the two countries have difference in against the policy of westerncountries, and the second factor is that the conflict occured in the most acute period of the coldwar. This paper attempts to through the historical archives of Russia and eastern Europe releaseddeclassified information after the cold war, in the view of the international relations discussedthe beginning of the conflict, namely the three parties Moscow conference(Soviet Union,Yugoslavia, Bulgaria) in1948.Around the relate problem of the conflict, through the argument tofind the causes of conflict.In the process of writing, this paper divided into three parts, the first part discusses thehistorical background of Yugoslavia’s three party conference in Moscow in1948. In thispart,the author divided it into two small parts.First, from the event that after the world war ПYugoslavia choose socialist system,implement a "one-sided" foreign policy, stood on thesame side with Soviet union to face the Marshall plan and make preparation for the communistparty cia, discussed the two countries made close relationship between each other, thenconcluded that Yugoslavia has always been the Soviet union’s closest ally and followers untilearly1948. Second, through the discussion of the two countries in the south in the ownership ofgustav, economic relations, and the establishment of the federal issues in the Balkans and a rangeof issues in social politicy, then concludes that the two countries in the friction surface closefriendly relations already indicated a large outbreak of the conflict.The second part discusses the three southern party in Moscow agenda, and it is also thefocus of the two parties and the two countries struggle. Through discussion the contradiction of the two countries in the relationship between Yugoslavia and Bulgaria,Yugoslavia andAlgeria,and the Greece civil war,to reveal the necessityof the conflict broke.And it is also theparley, become the breaking point that made the two parties from friendly cooperation to fullagainst. The third part is the end of the part, mainly discusses the primary cause of Soviet Unionand the Yugoslavia conflict.Ideological battles is the external form of the conflict, deep reason isdue to the change of the international situation, the two sides against each other in foreignstrategic. This fight mainly shown in two aspects, one is that, in foreign strategic, Yugoslaviatrying to establish a range of Balkans federal programs to against the Soviet union’s easternEuropean integration scheme; This kind of confrontation, makes the outbreak of the conflictbetween the Soviet Union and the Yugoslavia brewing.
