Tropical Rain Forest Vegetation In Wang Jinyuan Painting Techniques In The Study

Wang Jinyuan is an outstanding flower-and-bird painter who has left a wealth of art after his death especially the featured tropical rain forest themed ones which has enriched the subjects and methods of the modern flower-and-bird painting, meanwhile,he also has distinctive characteristics of the times.From his pictures,we can see that the tropical rain forest of Xishuangbanna inspired him a lot. On this account,this thesis use the image analysis, literature analysis,comparative analysis and on-the-spot investigation, combined with personal practice and experience,trying tointerpretation about Wang Jinyuan’s expression of painting techniques through the analysis of the Xishuangbanna tropical rain forest.The fist, this thesis analyses his life, origin of his art mind, and painting style which will help us to understand him and his works.Nest,proceed with four levels of the Xishuangbanna tropical rain forest as arborous layer, shrub layer, herb layer and inter stratum plant. By listing tropical rain forest vegetation characteristics and WangJinYuan tropical rainforest theme of painting works pictures, pictures from the structure of the building, and the relationship of color, style of painting techniques Wang Jinyuan presentation detail; Finally,this thesis discusses the influence and impact of Wang Jinyuan’s rainforest themed paintings.There are more and more artists who take Xinshuangbanna as their theme of painting, I hope my research could do something useful to rain forest themed painting. At the same time also hope to learn and creation of Chinese painting to provide more forms and artistic practice enlightenment.
