Blue Play Music Composition And Cultural Heritage Research

The study subject of LanGuanxi is very popular and historic genre of Gaoqiang in Shandong Jiaodong area.This author studies it from the perspective of ethnomusicology. From 2010 to 2011, I conducted my fieldwork for four times and got the first-hand materials and information. During my fieldwork, I used the questionnaires, interviews, audio and video recordings, photographs and other means. In the meantime, I tried to learn how to sing LanGuanxi and took some transcription and analysis.The article studies on the issues of LanGuanxi Qu pai, form structure, melody features, supporting characteristic, percussion accompaniment, traditional drama, application of the combination of analysis and examples. In addition, I studied the mode of inheritance, class cooperative development condition, music composition and cultural heritage of the relationship analysis. LanGuanxi is not independent existence, but has a close relationship with cultures of Taoism, folklore, and the family tradition.In May 20 of 2006, LanGuanxi was accepted as the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage by the State Council, and then was regarded as important local traditional music. However, the performers of LanGuanxi troupe are amateur, up to now, this genre has not a professional trope in Shandong and other districts. At present, it faces with the economic problem and the problem of successors in music. In conclusion, the author thinks scholars have to examine LanGuanxi and give suggestions on how to protect and develop this traditional opera.
