The data were managed by statically method with spss 16.0, and Logistic regression analysis model was used to perform single factor and multiple factors analysis. All patients were divided into four groups on the basis of classical differential diagnosis of TCM: blood-stasis and blood-heat, dampness-heat accumulation, liver-kidney yin deficiency and spleen-kidney yan deficiency.Results:(1) Among 243 patients,178 patients died,38 patients survived and 24 of them were out of followed, however,3 patients died with other disease.(2) Age, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatorenal syndrome, total bilirubin, serum prothrombin activity and HBVDNA are the independent prognostic factors for CSH with Logistic regression analysis.(3) The early incicence of the liver-kidney yin deficiency groups was 3.23%, and the advanced incidence was 96.77% the data was analyzed by x2 tests (P<0.05).
