| Purpose To evaluate the effect of PTBD in treating the patients with malignant obstructive jaundice, and analyze the correlative factors that effect the prognosis. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the data of 183 patients (M:105,F:78) with malignant obstructive jaundice in our hospital, which treated with different therapy of PTBD, were followed up by 0.5 ~48 months (mean 18.6±4.1 months) and were observed lately curative effect and live time. We analyze the correlation between above with different therapy types of PTBD, tumor types and the location of biliary obstruction . Results In my study, there were 181 cases treated successlully first time(98.90%)o Their clinical symptom are better than that before operation. The correlative factors influencing therapy effect were the value of preoperative serum bilirubin and albumin, obstructuve level, operation mode , the time between clinical symptom clinical symptom and operation and merging with serious complication or not ,et al . The correlative factors influencing living time were the value of preoperative serum total bilirubin, direct bilirubin and albumin, obstructuve level, et al. Conclusion The percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage is a safe and effective palliative therapy of malignant obstructive jaundice with reliefing jaundice and improving life quality and survival rate . |
