Objective:Atrial fibrillation is a common type of arrhythmia. It could threaten the patient’s life when it occurs acutely in clinical. It would impact the patient’s quality of life when it deferments and progresses into chronic disease. The medicine plays an important role in treating atrial fibrillation. In clinical, researches on the medicine of treating atrial fibrillation have never stopped, such as looking for the new antiarrhythmic drug and the perfect anticoagulant drug. But the western medicine has side effects to some extent. Recently, exploration of Chinese medicine in treating atrial fibrillation is also on the way. By researching refences about clinical studied of Chinese medicine in treating atrial fibrillation and summarizing my instructor Professor LIU Ru-xiu’s experience on treating atrial fibrillation, it is founded that Chinese medicine has curative effect on atrial fibrillation. So, the importance of this article is to systematic review the effeet of Chinese medicine in treating atrial fibrillation, then it will provide more evidence-based evidence for Chinese medicine in Heating atrial fibrillation. Methods:I used the computer network to retrieve all the reference which included randomized controlled trials(RCTs) about Chinese medicine on treating atrial fibrillation at home and abroad20years recently. According to the method provided by systematic review.the references were screened out step by step.At the end.22refences including2015cases were chosen to be study in this article. They were divided into two groups, one was the treat group single use of Chinese medicine compared with the control group use of the western medicine, the other was the treat group combined use of Chinese medicine eompared with the control group use of the western medieine. The clinical curative effect, changes of electrocardiograms and Chinese medicine Syndromes were three study endpoints. RevMan5.1software was used to statistically analysize the data and put the result into forest plot and funnel plot. Results:The plots showed that the single use of Chinese medicine maybe as same as the antiarrhythmie drugs, concerning the clinical curative effect in treating atrial fibrillation, but there was publication bias. Concerning the change of electrocardiograms, the two were in same, and there was no publication bias. Concerning the change of Chinese medieine syndromes, the former is better, and there was no publication bias. While, the combined use of Chinese medicine is better than antiarrhythmic drugs, concerning the clinical curative effect, the chages of electrocardiograms and Chinese medieine syndromes, and there were no publication bias at all. Conclusion:It can be seen that either the single use of Chinese medicine or the combined use of Chinese medicine has better effect in improving the Chinese medicine syndromes that the anti-arrhythmic drugs. The combined use of Chinese medicine was more effective than the single use of Chinese medicine in improving the clinical curative effect and electrocardiograms. So the effect of combined use of Chinese medicine is sure in treating atrial fibrillation. It is recommended to be put the combined use of Chinese medicine into effect in clinical. There is also some questions such as the low quality references in this article. Looking forward to rigorous designed RTCs for further study!...
