Objective:To observe the efficacy of the treatment in combining tradition acupuncture method and needling on Sphenomaxillary ganglia the clinical efficacy of Allergic RhinitisMethods:64patients with Allergic Rhinitis were randomly divided into2groups. Group1<treatment group with Acupuncture> and group Ⅱcontrol group with oral medicine> in each group32cases were treated and observed for four weeks. Acupuncture Treatment group in conjunction with the traditional acupuncture points and needling in the Sphenomaxillary ganglia. Group Ⅱ<control group with oral medicine> was treated with cetirizine hydrochloride tablets. Before and after treatment each symptoms and stage was recorded grading in differing levels and scores of the IgE in the blood records will be recorded while using individual patient data collected from to asses the general conditions of the patients.. The obtained data and data statistical analysis was performed using analysis SPSS16.0Research results:1. In comparison of the symptoms grading score, Group1<Acupuncture group> and group Ⅱ<control group with oral medicine> before and after the treatment, there were significant differences (P<0.01) It had indications that both treatment method in the2groups are equally effective in improving the clinical symptoms. However both group symptom scores varied.(P<0.01) It is indicated that the acupuncture group was more beneficial in improving the clinical symptoms than the control group.2. In comparison between the numerical value of Blood IgE, in<Acupuncture group> and <control group with oral medicine> before and after the treatment, there were significant differences (P<0.05) It is indicated both treatments are effective on reducing the numerical value of blood IgE;<Acupuncture group> and <control group with oral medicine> before and after the treatment, there were no significant differences shown on the numerical of the blood IgE (P>0.05) on both groups. In summary both groups had no difference in reducing the numerical of the blood IgE Conclusions:1. In improving the clinicalsymptoms on Allergic Rhinitis. It is indicated that the acupuncture group was more beneficial than the control group.2. It is indicated both treatments are effective on the numerical value of blood IgE; there were no significant differences shown on both groups (P>0.05). Therefore we ensure from the results it can be proven that acupuncture treatment in combining tradition acupuncture method and needling on Sphenomaxillary ganglia is considered more effective treatment for improving the clinical symptoms of Allergic Rhinitis patients.
