Panting syndrome is a kind of respiratory disease which has higher mortalityin the world. It seriously impacts on the patient’s life and work,and it bringsheavy burden to social and families. Therefore, it is significant to find aneffective way of curing Panting syndrome. Panting syndrome is characteristicof dyspnea which worse syndrome is hard-breathing by gaping and using chest,flaring of alaenasi, not being recumbent. Pant syndrome owns the name of “thelast kind of disease the physicians want to cure” with its shortcomings ofmuti-causes, easily being stimulated and long course of curing. Professor XuYanling who is an excellent clinical professional in State Administration ofTraditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), also is an excellent physician of TCM inLiaoning Province, works on eastern and western treatments on panting syndrome.By considering the characteristics of panting syndrome and traditional Chinesemedicine theories of ““lung and large intestine are connected with each otherin human’s body.” and “being unobstructed is important for curing diseasesof organs in body”, Pro. Xu created an outstanding methods for curing pantingsyndrome with the syndrome of being unobstructed in organs. This medical methodstarts from the part of large intestine to keep unobstructed to dispel pathogenicfactors in patients who have “Shi” syndrome. At the same time, patients whohave “Xu” syndrome in this disease deserve the nourishing to keep unobstructedto balance the whole body.This thesis is based on the theory of “lung and large intestine areconnected” to discussthe relationship of respiratory disease and largeintestine and to elaborate Pro. Xu’s creative treatment and clinical experienceon panting syndromes.
