Objective:By observing the directions of the ascending and descending operating in the point of QiJieGu in children constipation, Finding out the feasible relationship between the treatment and effects, in order to provide a reliable theory for the treatment of constipation with QiJieGu.Methods:72children constipation were divided into two groups, one named group A, it has36children. The other named group B,it has36children, then they are choosed the ascending or descending operating(pushing,kneeding, rubbing,knocking) respectively. After the treatings, recording the symptom scores, and comparing the factors.Results:In efficacy, no differences are found in the two group itself(P<0.05).The group A has a efficiency of97.1%,the group B has a efficiency of97.2%,no significant differences are found between them(P>0.05).Before and after the treatment, the symptom scores are found differences in the two groups itself(P<0.05),no differences are found between them(P>0.05).Conclusion:The two methods both can promote the function of the stool discharging. Both of them can adjust the functions of organs, in order to alleviate the children constipation symptoms.The reinforcing and reducing functions of QiJieGu are nothing to do with the directions.
