Target:To observe the effect of Ziyin Huoxue Decoction in Spontaneously Hypertension Rats, and in the process,detect the diversity of the systolic blood pressure of Rat tail artery,assay the protein expression of NAD(P)H oxidase p22phox in Rats’ heart and kidney tissues.In the last, to provide experimental basis and theortic guidance for clinical treatment of Ziyin Huoxue Decoction.Method:Fifty SHR rats were randomly divided into five groups:Simple hypertension group, Benazepril group,low dose TCM treatment group,medium dose TCM treatment group,high dose TCM treatment group (n=10). The Simple hypertension group were administered intragastrically with distilled water,The Benazepril group were administered intragastrically with benazepril, and the TCM group were administered intragastrically with Ziyin Huoxue Decoction of different density. After4weeks,all rats were measured the systolic blood pressure and executed the protein of p22phox in hearts and kidneys.Results:The blood pressure of ziyinhuoxuefufang groups’ rats and Benazepril group were significantly lower than Simple hypertension group’s(P<0.01); the p22phox expression level of ziyinhuoxuefufang groups’was significantly lower than Simple hypertension group’s(P<0.05),was significantly higher than Benazepril group’s(P<0.01); the p22phox expression level of medium dose TCM treatment group’s and high dose TCM treatment group’s was significantly lower than low dose TCM treatment group’s(P<0.05); There was no significant difference between medium dose TCM treatment group’s and high dose TCM treatment group’s (P>0.05)Conclusion:Ziyin Huoxue Decoction is able to redue the blood pressure of SHR rats effectively,which has exactly curative effect of hypertension. The mechanism may be related to downregulating the protein expression of NAD(P)H oxidase p22phox.
