Objective:By collecting the literatures which were the combining tradit ional Chinese and western medicine treated the polycystic ovary syndrome(PC OS) from January1979to November2011, analyzing the syndrome differentiat ion of TCM and the traditional Chinese medication, intending to find out th e rules of them, provided the basis for optimizing the TCM treatment of PC OS.Methods:To collect the clinical reserch literatures of the combining tra ditional Chinese and western medicine treated the PCOS in CNKI database fro m January1979to November2011. According to the-"into standard" screening, and accompany the. selected literatures with EXCEL program for the statistic s of the syndrome differentiation of TCM and useing of traditional Chinese herbs.Result:Through analysising the76articles of polycystic ovarian syndrom e clinical treatment shows that they include3009patients. All of the case s be divided into six TCM syndrome types,and use121kinds of traditional C hinese herbs. The statistics also find out the top12flavour herbs of every TCM syndrome type and its main channel distribution.Conclusion:The paper found out the basic pathogenesis, TCM syndrome dif ferentiation, and Chinese herb rules of PCOS, It to help promote and guide the TCM theoretical understanding and clinical treatment of PCOS.
