Syndrome Differentiation Standardized Study Of Acupuncture Point Massage Treatment Of Infantile Anorexia

Obiective:To study the effect of massage selected points based on symdrome differentiation and chiropractic on appetite, hemoglobin content, serum zinc levels and D-xylose excretory content in children with anorexia, and compared with the traditional chiropractic control group.Methods:Choosing165children which were diagnosised of Anorexia in Dong Fang Hospital, Beijing Chinese Medcine Hospital and Xi Yuan Hospital from2009.6to2010.8, divide them into two groups randomly. The control group were treated by simply chiropractic, on this basis, the experimental group were selected with the dialectical point massage.Results:Before treatment, there was no statistics difference in the score of Chinese medicine pattern, individual symptoms, blood zinc levels, hemoglobin cotent and the urinary excretion rate of D-xylose between the two groups. After treatment, The scores of the single symptoms such as the amout of food intake, temperament, complexion, excrement, biting teeth molars expect oration change in both groups. Abdominal distension and thirsty to drink hi side, before and after treatment were not statistically significant. There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group on clinical efficacy. TCM Syndrome aspects of treatment group compared with the control group was statistically significant. The results show that different ages and different severity in the clinical efficacy was statistically significant, four different card type in terms of clinical efficacy was not statistically significant.Conclusion:â‘ The traditional massage therapy and dialectical point selection massage therapy can significantly improve anorexia in temperament, complexion, excrement, biting teeth molars and in the decreased appetite, irritable temperamentcrying and biting teeth grinding symptoms, dialectical point selection massage therapy is superior to traditional massage therapy;Traditional massage therapy and dialectical point selection massage therapy on children with abdominal distention and thirst symptoms have no obvious improvement. Dialectical point selection massage therapy to improve the TCM Syndrome is superior to traditional massage therapy, in terms of clinical efficacy, the two kinds of therapy have no differency. Thus, dialectical point selection from the whole is superior to traditional massage therapy.â‘¡The dialectical selected hole massage therapy and traditional massage therapy can improve anorexia in children with hemoglobin and serum zinc contentâ‘¢The dialectical selected points massage therapy and traditional massage therapy can significantly improve urinary D-xylose excretion rate, and the dialectical point selection massage therapy is superior to traditional massage therapy.â‘£Age and severity influence the treatment of the dialectical point selection massage therapy.Younger than7years of age treatment effect is better.the more light of the severity, the better the treatment effect. Dialectical point selection massage therapy to the spleen and stomach qi deficiency, spleen deficiency,spleen and stomach and spleen deficiency liver Wang four card type are effective, especially the spleen and stomach Qi treatment best.
