Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To observe the effect of Sequential therapy of traditional Chinese medicine on obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome patiens and in accordance with chronic simple rhinitis. Including the value of nasal continuous positive airway pressure and the subjective nasal conditions. Methods:we observed31patients in total. All the patients were diagnosed with OSAHS and in accordance with Nasal Obstrucion (BiZhi) caused by heat in lung meridian in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The research group (31cases) were given the Chinese herbal medicine200ml for oral, bid×14days, before the oral decoction, the patients were asked to use the boiling steam steaming the nasal cavity. We recorded the value of nasal continuous positive airway pressure, nasal obstruct ion Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). With the observation completed, we evaluated the effects by statistical analysis.Results:①research group:the value of positive airway pressure was reduced from (10.452±2.263) cmH2O pre treatment to (9.194±2.064) cmH20post treat men t(p<0.05). The nasal obstructive VAS score decreased from (6.194±1.731) pre treatment to (4.984±1.557)7days after treatment to (3.968±1.335) post treatment (p<0.05).②The effect of post treatment is more significant than that of pre treatment in the value of positive airway pressure titration and nasal obstruction VAS score (p<0.05).Conclusion:Sequential therapy of traditional Chinese medicine can reduce the value of nasal continuous positive airway pressure and improving the situation of its subjective nasal ventilation in obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome patiens and in accordance with chronic simple rhinitis patients. While also indirectly reflected during the use of positive pressure ventilation can conjunctive with sequential therapy of traditional Chinese medicine to increase the comfort, Thereby enhancing the acceptability of patients with the treatment of positive pressure ventilation.
