This paper aims at analyzing the interaction among patients, doctors and personrelated. Because of various perspectives of "the meaning of illness",including thedifferent attitudes, countermeasures and comprehension of doctors and patients whenill falls, patients and doctors may be not able to interpret each other. Once there is notimely and abundant communication, further misconstructions may possibly follow, such as the suspicion between the patients and each other, from which both patientsand doctors suffer a lot. By describing the performance of patients and doctors withina whole illness treatment process, together with pieces of deep-going interviews toboth patients and doctors, this dissertation tries to make clear how and why the bothsides lose belief on the other side. Based on these analysis, several exploratorymethods are put forward to solve,or ease the conflicts, like the introduction ofmedical social workers into hospitals. The whole paper is based on the theory of Communication by Habermas, J.,which helps to explain the importance of communication to resolvemisunderstandings. And also this theory is a part of my conclusion that, althoughcomplicated factors result in the deterioration of the relationship of patients anddoctors, the most urgent and necessary step to get recovery is to communicatesincerely and proactively.
