Due to some different reasons, more and more reinforced concrete (RC) structures need to be strengthened, a variety of reinforcement technologies and materials have been developed and improved also. Among them, fiber reinforced polymers/plastics (FRP) have been widely used in structure reinforcement for their well-known advantages, including their light weight, high strength, good corrosion resistance and simplicity in use. In this paper, we developed a fire-new method of shear strengthening with CFRP to restrain to debond at the end of CFRP sheets. Through the tests of 10 RC T-beams simulating the shear strengthening of continuous beams under negative moment, we validated the practicability of this new method, the main works and achievements are as follows:1. The results showed that, anchor by wraping about bars can effectively restrain to debond at the end of CFRP sheets, significantly increase the ultimate shear capacity and deformation property of reinforced structures.2. Through this experiment, some influences to failure modes and structural behaviors were studied, including fiber distribution and amount, reinforced manners. Then, the correlation of diffierernt shear subentries was analyzed, and the formula for estimating the ultimate shear capacity was put forward. Compared with test results available, the proposed equations gave good agreement.3. Finally, a design formula which is adaptable to the practical projects was put forward, and some suggestions were given for applications.
