Nowadays, major central air conditioning circulation cooling water system takes advantage of open circulating cooling water system.During the cooling process, water is lost through evaporation in the cooling tower and waste discharge, resulting in serious corrosion and scale which significantly affect normal production or leads to a damage to the equipment in an extreme case.In this paper, a reverse osmosis system is employed in the central air conditioning circulation cooling water system. The reverse osmosis system is used to deal with the make up water, sustain the system operation and keep water quality of effluent steady. The optimum control index for the application of circulating water are determined by the dynamic simulated test and the study of the performance of the corrosion and scale inhibitors.According to the experimental data, the hardness will be controlled below280mg/L, the scaling phenomenon of recycled water will be significantly improved, and the corrosion rate is maintained at a lower level.During the process of the reverse osmosis system, raising the temperature of the water-in significantly reduce the pressure of the treatment. When the water production is8LĀ·min(-1),the operating pressure is decreased by32%as the temperature goes up.At last, according to the simulation, experiments have been done in water containing various percentage of the cooling water. The quality of the water, the corrosion rate and the scaling trend has been analyzed. It should be noted that when the percentage is around60%, recycled water hardness stabilized at about280mg/L, indicating that the Lai Ryznar indice to be6.At this point, the corrosion rate tends to be steady and the system is operating under good water quality.
