Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) is a new generation of power generation technology. It meets human demand because of the advantages of high efficiency, low noise and low pollution. In addition to the manufacturing process of the fuel cell, ancillary equipment and control systems also affect the performance of PEMFC. A PEMFC monitor&control platform is designed according to the working principle and characteristics. This paper includes the following content:(1) According to the composition of the PEMFC monitor&control platform design of the overall program, it includes the power generation system, data acquisition&control systems, real-time data display system and fault diagnosis system. Formula of the optimal operating temperature and exhaust emissions are obtained by a large number of experimental data.(2) This paper uses the Simulink to build a temperature model, according to the law of conservation of energy and electrochemical principles. And then this paper designed an integral separation PID temperature controller. In the role of the controller, the stack temperature rapid response and stability in the vicinity of the optimum operating point.(3) This paper takes the TMS320F2812as the core of the hardware circuit. The hardware circuit includes master module, power module, data acquisition module, actuators module and communication module. And then it is designed software based on the monitoring and control system software hardware. It mainly includes voltage, current acquisition module, temperature acquisition module, temperature PID control module&communication module, and serial communication module. By hardware circuit debugging and software testing show that the design meets the requirements of the system’s hardware and software.(4) PC software based on LabVIEW is designed in this paper. It mainly includes the VISA-based serial communication module, interface module and fault diagnosis module. A100W-class PEMFC fault tree model and fault reasoning process are builded by the fault tree analysis.Experiments show that the monitor&control system is stable, and the tack’s temperature stabilized at the optimum operating temperature. The performance of the fuel cell is achieved the objectives. When the efficiency of fuel cell reduced, it can diagnose problems quickly and accurately. It illustrates the safety performance of the monitoring&control system and verifies the rationality of the system design.
