Begin from1970s, with the changing from seller’s market to buyer’s market, mass&single production also began to turning to small&variety production. China is a manufacturing power. Mixed flow production line workshop has great representativeness in the manufacturing workshop of our country. The planning of the mixed flow line workshop is the opening part of the founding of enterprises, so the study on this kind of planning has a great practical significance.The method this paper discussed is the one can resolve the problems occurred when plan the mixed flow production line workshop system.First of all. analyze the mixed flow line workshop planning by adopting the Complex System Theory. Found that the system of mixed flow line workshop planning characterize structural complexity, component unit complexity, interactive links complexity and behavior complexity. This planning system featured gathering, nonlinearity. flow, diversity four characteristics. Logo, internal models and building block these three mechanisms of Complex Adaptive System CAS. This system is an opening system with continuing energy exchange to the outside. And it also fully demonstrates the mixed flow line workshop planning system is CAS. All the method and theory suits for CAS can be adopting in mixed flow line workshop planning system.Second of all, introduce the genetic algorithm GA to improve the process of the traditional SLP. From the previous using actual equipment size to set up a certain constraint range, replace it with logistics relations. In this way, can avoid continuous manual adjust and amendment when design the operating unit position correlogram and size correlogram by using previous SLP. Therefore, the old SLP has been optimized and the subjective influence has been reduced extremely.Third of all. Application of genetic algorithms to the SLP process. By adding a coding level (craft-unit) to complete the constraint design, can have an integrated consideration of equipment, craft and unit. Consequently, the system will be more suitable and the operation will be faster.At last, case study. Combine GA and improved SLP to analyze the real case. Compare to the previous planning which only use GA. we have not only perfect the process, save the time but be more close to the requirement of the company. Compare to the original planning (adopted by company previously) which only use SLP, the logistics cost deduct50%. and avoid the continuous manual adjust and amendment when design the operating unit position correlogram and size correlogram. successfully reduce the impact of the subjective factor, perfectly meets the company’s needsRelevance experimental data indicates, the planning method this paper discussed the one that combine GA and SLP can effectively reduce the whole logistics cost. enhance the quality of the design, simplify the design procedure and get the satisfied effects. Have a great applicable and promotional value.
