Based On Vxworks Embedded Recording Playback System

Currently, the recorder has been widely applied to all kinds of areas. In this thesis, the background of the recorder applied for secondary surveillance radar system is discribed. Several embedded softwares as well as file systems are presented and compared with each others. Meanwhile, the device driver and start-up process of the Vx Works embedded system are briefly introduced. The design principle and realized method of the recorder’s software and hardware are involved, especially the structure and work flow of software are dicussed in details.During the research process, the PC104computer and flash disk are applied to establish the hardware system. By using the PC104framework for data processing can make the system effective, real-time and generality. The flash disk applied for data storage can not only satisfy the read-write speed, but also meet the environmental requirements. The multi-task mechanism of Vx Works sytem is utilized in the software design, and the synchronization and mutex between tasks are fully considered. The dosFs file system which is compatible with MS-DOS is applied for data storage, and the data file is organized by directory tree.The design method, performance analyzation and testing process are involved in this thesis. The module has been equipped in the facility for more than one year, and it was validated by practical applications. Results proved that the entire research was effective and successful, the system requirements were satisfied and expected effect was achieved.
