The absolute position detection method is one of the core technologies of traction control system and operation control system in high-speed maglev train, which provides necessary position, speed and moving direction information for maglev train to operate safely and reliably. In order to serve the homemade Maglev Transportation System, this thesis researches the absolute position detection method based on Electro-Magnetic Induction and analyzes the factors which affect the stability and reliability of the equipment according to the technical requirements of the position detection system. Efficient methods are taken to design its hardware and software circuit after considering the electro magnetic compatibility. Fault detection and diagnosis are explored at the same time. At last, experiments are carried out to validate the new design. This thesis mainly researches on four aspects, shown as follows:Firstly, the project design is made, the hardware circuit of the absolute locating equipment are designed and realized, the function of Encoding read and the discrimination of the train running direction is realized by software programming. Experimental results show that the design of the equipment can achieve the intended function.Secondly, considering the complex environment, electromagnetic compatibility designs are made in order to improve the system reliability, shielding, filtering and grounding ways are used here to improve the capability of anti-jamming, which make the equipment adapt the complex electromagnetic environment of the magnetic levitation train well.Thirdly, the common failure of absolute locating equipment is analysis, we confirm the method of fault locating based on signal current, the integrated failure assessment models based on support vector machine is established, at last, the reliability of diagnosis is verified by simulation experiments.Finally, the equipment are tested from these two aspects of electromagnetic compatibility and environmental reliability, the results show that the equipments meet the requirements well. At the same time in-vehicle experiments are made after the equipment ground calibration, results showed that the equipment can meet the positioning requirements of the maglev train.Research of this subject has some theoretical and practical significance for future maglev train positioning equipment design.
