As an important part of modern aircraft, avionics system is openly-structured and is characterized of integration, modularization and generalization. Avionics system is in charge of airborne communication, navigation and positioning, target detection positioning, processing of flying combat missions and flight status. Because of its complex structure, the development of avionics systems is difficult. In order to develop avionics system effectively and test the avionics of the avionics system, it is better to choose the avionics simulation system. Through the use of the avionics simulation system we can greatly shorten the development cycle and reduce the costs.Firstly, this dissertation analyzes the architecture and composition of avionics systems in its various stages, and discusses the important role of avionics simulation system in its development. Also this dissertation analyzes the function of the avionics simulation system and the relevant problem to be solved. In order to solve the problems faced by the current avionics simulation system development, this dissertation adopts software communication architecture technology as the solution of avionics simulation development. The platform of avionics simulation system based on the software communication architecture makes the hardware of the avionics simulation as a logical device, and breaks the avionics simulation waveform into multiple application components. The platform adopts the CORBA middleware to link the logical device and application component. The core framework of the software communication architecture controls and manages the whole simulation system.Secondly, the dissertation analyzes the architecture of software communication and the CORBA technology, and then discusses the advantages of avionics simulation system platform developed by those technologies. Based on the UML modeling language and the specification of software communication architecture, the dissertation has finished the modeling of avionics simulation system platform and its applications. And then generate the framework codes which are needed by the specific platform, complete the interface program design of the CORBA middleware. CORBA middleware technology is used for designing and implementing the monitoring software of avionics simulation system platform. The monitoring software is used to display, storage and playback the simulation of the avionics simulation system.Lastly avionics simulation system platform based on software communication architecture can be quickly ported to different platforms and operating systems, which is characterized of good portability. At the same time, monitoring software for specific application is practically used to monitor the waveform loading of entire avionics simulation system platform and its simulation condition and the processing of stimulation data.
