With the rapid development of frequency control technology, the constant pressure water supply system based on the frequency control is applied to the high-rise water supply system more and more. Compared to constant speed water supply system, frequency control constant pressure water supply system have a good energy saving, but because the pressure is set according to the demand of the maximum flow, and the value of the set pressure can not automatically do real-time adjustments according to the flow requirements of the system, so that the supply energy of the system exceeds to the demand in most of the time. Therefore, this way of water supply has not make the energy-saving potential of the frequency control all play out. This article direct this lack of the frequency control constant pressure water supply system, proposed a way of frequency control variable pressure water supply, it adjust the pressure setting based on the flow requirements in real time, can better play the energy saving potential of frequency control.This paper first introduced the overview of the development of water supply systems, analyzed the characteristics of the frequency control water supply system, according to the operating characteristics curve of the pipe network and pump, illustrated the principle of frequency control of the water supply system, next analyzed the principle of variable frequency constant pressure water supply system and variable frequency variable pressure water supply system, proposed the energy-saving water supply method by variable frequency variable pressure operation in the high-rise water supply system, and proposed the mechanism and implementation of the variable pressure operation of high-rise water supply system.In this paper, direct the characteristics of the mathematical model of the control object is difficult to accurately build in the high-rise variable frequency variable pressure water supply system, and the system with nonlinear and delay characteristics, designed a fuzzy PID controller, adjust the three parameters of the PID controller by fuzzy rules online. Direct the problem about the delay in the water supply system, introduced the Smith predictor to compensate, and use MATLAB to simulate, the results show that the dynamic response and steady state accuracy of the system have been strengthened.
