With The Development Of The Varnish

This paper briefly introduced the history and development of AUTO industry all over the world. Base on automobile varnish performance evaluation and technical specialty, the development of the car varnish was systematically studied.In AUTO varnish development process, a variety of acrylic acid resin was compared according to the basic principle of acrylic resin choice. It was found that Nuplex1795and91795could be used as basic acrylic resin in AUTO varnish. ME-O1P of the Hunan Xiangjiang Kansai Co.Ltd and US-138of Nuplex were choosed as cross-linking agent in a serious of resin ratio test. In addition, the flatting agent, the deforming agent, light stabilizer, the solvent inside the varnish, and the thinner were chosen in a series of compare tests, and also the baking conditions of car varnish. Based on these, the varnish products that can meet the requirements of AUTO market were developed. Compared to the Japanese products, the resulting products were better in main performance, especially in film appearance (gloss and DOI), acid resistance and scratch resistance.This research is practically valuable for the automobile coating in China, especially the development and upgrade of the AUTO varnish products.
