Species Civilization Reflection Of The Ecological Civilization

This thesis intends to find the way for the development of the ecological civilization theory in order to make it more rationality through investigating the rationality of the ecological civilization theory, and giving analysis and reflection on its defects from the point of species civilization.This thesis is divides into four parts which can be illustrated as follows:The first part is a preliminary exploration on ecological civilization theory. First, it is the basic discussion on the background of ecological civilization from the aspects of the original social civilization, the ancient society civilization and the modern society civilization. Second, it introduces the basic concepts on the ecological civilization. Finally, it gives the overview on the basic values of the ecological civilization in which the connotation and characteristics of the values of ecological civilization as well as values of the ancient and western ecological civilization.The second part, as the main part in this thesis, demonstrates the reflections on the species civilization of ecological civilization. Combing the characteristics of ecological civilization with the species civilization, this thesis introduces the defects of the ecological civilization from the aspects of one-sided, uncertainty, untruthful and the substance of the anthropocentrism, in the meantime, the rationality of the species civilization has been illustrated from the aspects of comprehensive, certainty, authenticity and the non-anthropocentrism. Through these discussions, the species civilization has been proved as one new form of civilizations to solve the crisis of living environment and human existence.The third part is to discuss the importance of species civilization for the beyond and development of ecological civilization. In accordance with the world view of the species civilization, all species in the world are equal to each other, and the existent of oneself is the highest purpose and the highest value.The last part is to demonstrate the construction significance of species civilization to the harmonious relationship of human-and-nature from the two points:species civilization is helpful to the fulfillment of the harmonious relationship of human-and-nature; the harmonious relationship of human-and-nature is the basement of social harmony. Meanwhile this part points that it is impossible for the better fulfillment of sustainable development in the future without coordinating the relationship among the human, nature and all species.The description on the species civilization can be considered as one of ways for the human overcoming the crisis of the ecological environment and human existence, and also may be as one new form for the life of human civilization in the future. Therefore, it can be concluded that species civilization is one choice of possibility and rationality for the human civilization in the future, and has the theoretical meaning and realistic basis for building the harmonious socialist society and fulfilling the sustainable development.
