SolidWorks software is universal CAD design software, but it not meet the design requirements of individual enterprises. Therefore more and more enterprise based on their design requirements are personalizing to customize and doing corresponding secondary development of CAD software, in order to construct the enterprise actual CAD system, so as to improve the design efficiency and one-time success rate, and further enhance the enterprise vitality and competitiveness.In the background of individual needs of Enterprise for general CAD software the topic is done research on the Wang WeiCheng etc who are working in Changshu Weicheng nonwoven equipment Co., LTD design needle-punching machine crank box and QBG421 needle-punching machine crank box of Qingdao textile machinery Co., LTD. Based on SolidWorks 2010, using secondery developing tool API SDK, a set of SolidWorks design aided system,which is done aimed at design and optimization of needle-punching machine crank box, has been developed in Visual C++6.0. Analyzing the crank box structure characteristics and working principle, studying the mechanism of the secondary development of SolidWorks, overall design scheme of the aided design system and the realization method of the modules are established.The needle-punching machine crank box aided design system which is developed in the paper includes four modules, parametrized design module,automatic assembly module, show module and demo module,thereinto, demo module is divided into motion simulation module and curve analysis module.The main research contents:1. Based on SolidWorks software secondary development methods and research;2. The analysis research of Crank box structure and working principle;3. Parameterized design for crank box structure;4. Automatic assembly for crank box;5. Motion simulation and analysis for crank box.The system can help to complete parameterized design for crank box structure, to improve the main performance for itself, to realize rapid and visual by making the MMI.
