Default Mode Network (DMN), which intrigued the most widespread interestedin the resting state. Rest state brain activity changes in the brain may reflect differentphysiological and pathological conditions, Thus of great significance to the study ofbrain functional activity and working mechanism。This article based on seed-pointcorrelation functional connectivity analysis. investigate the DMN functionalconnectivity plasticity。The results are as follows:1. Altered functional connectivity of the DMN in ordinary people to identify theauditory task: Investigated10subjects’ DMN functional connectivity in three differentconditions: resting state, identification the sounds for the first time, and repeatidentification the sounds (Repetition Priming). The results showed that the order of thestrength of DMN’s functional connectivity was: Resting state stronger than RepetitionPriming stronger than first identification. Such a decrease of the strength in DMN’sfunctional connectivity might resulted from the increase of the processing load of thethree tasks. Therefore, the strength of DMN’s functional connectivity might benegatively correlated with the processing load of the tasks.2. Altered functional connectivity of the DMN in Musicians perceive musical task:Investigated12musicians’ DMN functional connectivity under three differentconditions: resting state, auditory search task and passive listening task. The resultsshowed that the DMN’s functional connection in the resting state and auditory searchtask were similar, decrease of the strength in passive listening task. indicating thatmusician searching a single tone was very simple and single target after a long period ofmusical training. This process is automated processing and is not require more resourcesto participate. Passively to listen to the music of the target for a series of processing, thewhole process of cognitive tasks involved in the DMN by a certain amount of damage.3. Plasticity research of musicians resting state DMN’s functional connectivity:Investigated the differences of DMN’s functional connectivity in the resting statebetween16musicians’ and16non-musicians’. We found that musicians’ functional connectivity was stronger than non-musicians’, May be the result of the musician ’slong-term training in music and musical instruments. After long-term training, themusicians have enhanced synchronization of brain activity. Therefore, musical traininghelp to improve the DMN functional connectivity, It also reflects the changes of musicaltraining on brain plasticity.
