Genomic imprinting refers to a pair of alleles from diferent parental origin thatexists the diferent function. The diference is formed in the long-term evolution. It plays a crucial role in the normal mammalian development. The formation andexpression of imprinted genes exist a complex regulatory mechanisms. As imprintdgenes is essential regulatory mechanisms of normal development, Abnormal behaviorof imprinting gene must cause a variety of related diseases. Abnormal expression ofimprinting genes leads to mutations and phenotypes which associated with complexdefects in a variety of human diseases. So the study of imprinting genes on solutiondisease which caused by mutations is of great significance. The motivation of this article is to develop a statistical model for estimatingthe imprinting efects with two SNPs. A set of families randomly sampled froma natural population. Each family composed of parents and ofspring. Becausegenotypes of parents are known, imprinting efects which due to diferent originsof the same allele can be estimated by phenotypic data of the ofspring. Such astrategy will help to precisely estimate and test imprinting efects of haplotypes.Itprovides a new gateway for studying the genetic architrcture of complex traits.
