With3DGIS technology development, urban renewal has become a three-dimensionallandscape GIS research focus. The traditional method of3D modeling and visualization in theface of massive data modeling demonstrated a long cycle, poor visualization, three-dimensionalscene rendering the problem of low efficiency, can not meet real needs. With computertechnology, VR technology, GIS technology, the emergence of a lot of3DGIS software at homeand abroad, with the help of3D Urban Landscape software is a fast and efficient method ofreconstruction, but in many software how to choose a better performance of thethree-dimensional GIS software is worthy of our study. On the other hand, the application of3DUrban Landscape reconstruction often just to stay level or three-dimensional display ofthree-dimensional landscape built on a simple3DGIS visualization system, and not to be appliedto support decision-making level up. Therefore, for the above two issues, it is necessary with theactual needs for further research.For the above problems, this paper systematic analysis and summary of the current methodsof topography and surface features of the modeling in the processing of3D UrbanLandscaperenewal, combined with concrete experience, given the wide range of urban landscapemodels to quickly build solutions that: DEM and DOM overlay to achieve a wide range of fastthree-dimensional terrain modeling; general and special building construction volume modelingcombined to achieve the professional modeling three-dimensional modeling of surface structures.Three-dimensionallandscape visualization is another importantpart of the three-dimensionalreconstruction,this paper discusses the increased efficiency of the method of renderingthree-dimensional scene,beginning with improving the three-dimensional scene. Then, withthree-dimensional landscape modeling and visualization requirements, analysisesthe uniqueadvantages of SkyLine in achieving rapid reconstruction of the city’s three-dimensionallandscape, and use it to complete a wide range of Zunyi City’sconstruction of three-dimensionalscene. Finally, based on thecompletion of construction of three-dimensional scene and on thesupport of three-dimensional planning decision support system project for Zunyi City, with thesecondary development interfaceswhich SkyLine provide developing the three-dimensionalplanning decision support system. The system is integrated with urban planning for the businessneeds to build the field of urban planning3DGIS applications. The system not only achievedthree-dimensional scene browsing, but also achieved planning visit, planning review, planningdecision support analysis capabilities and so on. Meanwhile, the system is based onSharpDevelop’s plug-in mechanism to build up, compared to other3DGIS applications, it is easier to maintain and update.Three-dimensionalplanning decision support system which based on SkyLine is realized,and has not only to achieve a large-scale three-dimensional view of the rapid reconstruction ofthe city, but also improved the three-dimensional landscape of the urban renewal applications tothe decision support level.Therefore, the subject of research for improving the level of urbanplanning and management has some practical value.
