At present, the mature system on earthquake damage information system based on GIS has not appear, To set up a earthquake damage information system with highly efficient can promote the ability significantly of the early warning and earnestly guarantee the people’s human rights and safety of lives and property, Therefore, it is necessary to introduce other new technology and method of the disciplines to ensure the scientific and rational of the earthquake damage information system.After the big earthquakes, it has scientific value to gain the data of Disaster quickly, In recent years,The swift development of GIS technology and3D laser virtual reality technology provides the technical tools for achieving this goal.This paper study the virtual reconstruction in Wenchuan Shifang earthquake site area based on3D laser virtual reality technology, this article has given the technology study and practice for the integratingã€processingã€recreating of the cloud data of the permanent buildings, structures and other installations.By adopting the integrated secondary development method and taking Visual Studio2008as developing flat earthquake disaster mitigation information system is set up, By above research, the following results are obtained:1) The wenchuan shifang site was scanning with Faro Focus3D3d laser scanner,the cloud data was editor, joining, space measurement, registration with the software Cyclone, modeling and texture registration for all related buildings and other structures, appendages (138units). Finally,the result was displaied in the system.2) Design the database of earthquake damage information system, realized the basic functions of the earthquake damage information system.3) Giving the structure design and function design for the earthquake damage information system,, developing the basic geographic information visualization of the earthquake damage information system based on GIS.
