Chinese culture represented by Confucianism and Western culture represented by Christian are two very different cultural systems in the essence. The former is based on philosophical ideas and ideals, and the latter is a typical religious culture. Because they are both the essence of their own cultural systems, they play very importment role in their own cultural systems. Therefore it has a positive significance on understanding the communication of Eastern and Western cultures to contrast both of them. However,the author can not afford to cantrast Confucianism and Christianity on the whole. To this end, the author selects the micro-perspective "love". "Love" is the central concept in the Confucian and Christian tradition, however, they are very different in the quality and content. The love of Confucian is called "good will", the love of Christianity is called "love", both represent the basic principles of the Confucian tradition and the Christian tradition, embody two different spirit of cultures and moral belief. Therefore, it is very essential to compare the concepts of love in Confucianism and Christianity.At first, this paper discusses the position of love in Confucianism and Christianity; Secondly, on the basis of the view of human nature, the author illustrates the Human Nature of Confucian and the Original Sin of Christian and anlyzes comparatively the different views of Human Nature in Confucianism and Christianity. Again, on the basis of value of Confucianism and Christianity, the author discusses the Confucian humanism and the Christian doctrine of God, moreover, anlyzes comparatively the Saint and Emperor and Go to Heaven; Third, on the basis of beyond of Confucianism and Christianity, the author discusses the Confucian self-cultivation and the Christian faith, moreover anlyzes comparatively the causes of internal beyond and external beyond; Finally, the author explores the modern value of the concepts of love in Confucianism and Christianity.
