Sixties and seventies of last century, the economic of Asian countries development are so rapid. Especially in East Asia, Japan, Korea, Singapore and other countries, they expanded rapidly and turn into the modern states. Thus it concluded that:Countries in the world go into the modernization is not only one road. So people of East Asian put the model of East Asia countries go into modernization named "East Asian model." From research "East Asian model", experts and scholars surprised to find that:the "Asian Model" to be successful is because the values that behind it and guiding it.The area of East Asia is influenced by Chinese Confucianism since ancient times, because that the area of East Asia has a new value system, the value system different from the West. So this value system was called "Asian values." To nineties of last century, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Kwan Yew and Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamad, for the national interest and compete with western values, they come up with "Asian values ". After that the concepts such as "Asian values"、"Eastern values"、"Confucian capitalism" and so on are come out like flowers. While, when experts and scholars were pleased with the "Asian values", because they thought they found a value system that different from western values and they thought they can compete with western values. When the year 1997, the Asian financial crisis was taken place, it broke people’s dream. On the one hand, many scholars recognize that "Asian values" is nonexistent, the impact of Confucianism on the whole Asia is limited, in fact Confucianism spread and influence mainly in east Asia, and the countries that happened economic miracle were in east Asia too, so we called it the "East Asian values" would be more appropriate. If expand it by force and call it "Asian values" I think it seemed to be a little far-fetched, because in Asia there are too many cultures and too many conflicts, so it is difficult to make a uniform of values. On the other hand, "East Asian values" and Confucianism have exposed many problems in this crisis. Such as "government-led enterprise" led to the bubble economy, family management is not conducive to market competition and so on. From that on, there were many scholars having a completely negative attitude to "East Asian values" and associated systems. In my opinion, we should have a dialectical attitude to "East Asian values", we should not blindly praise it because its advantages in "East Asia Economic Miracle" and we should not blindly negative it because its defects in "financial crisis in Asia", too. We know that there are many Confucian cultures in the "East Asian values", so for Confucianism, we should preserve and develop the good content and throw away the bad content. Therefore, I think, the first task is put the "East Asian values" into a modern, in other words, the first task is refactoring the "East Asian values ". In this process, I will do my best to research the influence of Confucianism in restructuring the "East Asian values"Nowadays, with the development of economic, China became more powerful, so China has responsibility and obligation to reconstruct "East Asian values", at this time, China must avoid narrow nationalism. We should refactoring "East Asian values" with an open and comprehensive attitude.
