A Study On The Image Aesthetics Of East Asian Sports Films Since The New Century

Since the beginning of the new century,East Asian countries have gradually increased their emphasis on the development of sports.Especially with the holding of the Intercontinental Games,the number of film and television works has also increased correspondingly.Indeed,in comparison,people pay less attention to sports movies than other types of movies in the study of film and television works.The research on sports films in my country started relatively late.At the same time,the development of sports films does not match my country’s increasingly vigorous sports industry,and there is still much room for research.The thesis selects representative sports film texts from three countries in East Asia,China,Japan,and South Korea.In history,China,Japan,and South Korea belong to the same cultural circle and are connected by blood.However,in recent years,they have presented a harmonious but different situation.In terms of sports film production,the three countries have similarities and many differences.The thesis focuses on sports films in my country,and compares them with Japan and South Korea,and draws corresponding enlightenment from the comparison,in order to better develop sports films in my country.The thesis is divided into five parts,starting from the main body of sports movies,combining film and television aesthetics and sports aesthetics related theories,to study the image aesthetics of sports movies.The introduction mainly introduces the research background,defines the related concepts of sports films,combs the related literature of sports films and sports aesthetics,and clarifies the theoretical and practical significance of the topic selection;the first chapter analyzes the attributes of sports beauty from the perspective of sports beauty and sports movies.And performance,the categories and functions of sports films,make sports beauty and image beauty collide,and then analyze the possibility and significance of East Asian sports films;Chapter 2 from the perspective of historical theory,explores the development process of sports films in the three East Asian countries since the 21 st century.Pay attention to the individuality of each country and the focus of film sub-types,and pave the way for the following specific examples;Chapter 3,from the perspective of the commonality of East Asian sports film images,selects the core three parts of the sports concept,sports,athletes,and competition screens for analysis;The fourth chapter continues to dig into the core of East Asian sports films and analyzes the sports spirit of harmony in East Asia;Chapter 5 puts forward specific suggestions for the future development of sports films in China,hoping to continue to ride the wind and waves on the sails of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
