Dong does not have its own characters in history. The heritage of Dong people’s history, production, life,social customs as well as ethics are all accomplished through the dong song. In their opinion, the Dong song is not only a means of communication, but also a means of education. Meanwhile, it also has the function of cultural heritage. They used to express the pursuit of love, the ideal vision, and desire for happiness by singing. They interpret their understanding of the life, society and nature by singing; To state the history of the nation, to express personal feelings. to welcome friends by singing. In the long history of the Dong people, they created countless song works and formed their unique theory of dong songs.In the boundary of Hunan, Guizhou and Guangxi province, hundreds of miles around are linked by mountains and rivers. Liping county of Guizhou province is famous for the Dong in China, and there are many types of the Dong songs, among which the most famous is of course the Dongzutaige. Besides, there is an old saying in Liping county, that is,"Singing River song outside Longe". Longe, known to the world as "the hometown of River song art" in China. especially after the annual "River Song Art Festival" which is held in Longe Dongzhai since2007, has attracted more and more lovers of the Dong River Song. Dong river song, as the essence of traditional culture of Longe dongzhai, reflects the characteristics of Longe people living by the river and their production methods and life style, and plays an important role among the young men and women seeking partners.The river song absorbs the profound essence of national culture during the long-term process of historical development, which has distinct cultural connotation through development and innovation. The river song is not only the main carrier of spiritual culture of Long E people, but also the main form of traditional cultural heritage of the nation. Under the impact of modernization process, the heritage of the Dong river song has varying degrees of crisis. The elderly of the village still keep strong interest in the river song. Although the young people of the village yearn towards the river song, they feel helpless because of being too busy to caring about that.Educational function is determined by the educational elements and its structure. Thus, this paper turn to study the relationship between the heritage elements of the Dong river song and various elements based on systematic analysis. In the daily lives of Long E people, the interaction between the educators and the educated, the educators and educational impact, the educated and educational impact constitute the heritage system of the Dong river song. This system is the important part of Long E Dong village in the entire social system. The educational function achieved in the process of interaction between the social system and its subsystem. The realization of educational function of the Dong river song has its unique form of expression, this refer to the social communication between the young people of Long E and their peers. Mainly in the juvenile and young people of Long E, they learn singing the river song, practicing the river song with their companion, and singing in antiphonal style among the villages, especially the scene when the young men and women sing in antiphonal style under the moonlight.
