The Study On Fan Chengda’s Poetry In His Office Of The Commanding Officer Period

Fan Chengda’s office of commanding officer period indicates the period that Fan was in power of Guilin, Chengdu, Mingzhou, Jiankang as a leader. During this period, Fan created nine volumes of poetry, accounted for one third of his over all poetry, and it was the most fruitful period for his poetry creation. We could better understand Fan’s character and poetry through researching on his poetry of this period. In the preface, the time span and poetry creating condition of Fan’s office of the commanding officer period are defined, and current research of the academia is tided, then the research meaning of this paper is determined. In Chapter One, the creating theme of Fan’s poetry in his office of the commanding officer period is discussed from three aspects of his loving and worrying about people, urging for retirement and idea-leisure. In Chapter Two, the art characteristic of Fan’s poetry in this period is discussed from the two aspects of art technique and art style, and the conclusion that pre-period of Fan’s office of the commanding officer is the real mature period of his poetry is reached. In Chapter Three, based on the foundation of evaluating Fan’s poetry in office of the commanding officer period, by comparing with his poetry before and after his office of the commanding officer period, and by investigating the commander-in-chief chorus style, a reasonable define of Fan’s poetry in this period is given. In the epilogue, a simple comment on the Fan’s status in the "resurgence poetry world" is made, and then a simple summation of this paper is done.
