In the thin beauty visual era, clothing as second human skin plays a more and more important role in the modification of.These modifications can be reflected in the clothing style,color change, but can be used to reflect the fashion line.Among the many forms of lines, vertical lines is the most common and most consumers and researchers to indulge in elaborating on, since it seems by the "little" modified pattern can be visually bring "thin" and the appearance of the double effect.In psychology on horizontal lines illusion can be collectively referred to as "segmentation visual illusion", on this illusion brought effect is mo Zhong consistent, some scholars believe that the cross line significantly overweight, while others believe that vertical stripes significantly overweight, but in real life, there is a new problem:when lines in different width and spacing there may be different illusion effect.In addition, even simple lines also have a sense of beauty, so in the clothing of different horizontal and vertical lines with how the aesthetic effect, at the same time lines have a visual illusion and beauty are the potential relationship between.Based on the above about clothing lines brought reflection and value of horizontal, were used in this study Abstract squares and women’s short sleeve as the research object, discusses the horizontal and vertical lines with different widths and spacing in case the resulting segmentation illusion effect.This study divided into two parts:The first part is the illusion effect research, divided into abstract conditions and clothing under the conditions of the two research.The two research methods are experimental method, through the earlier period according to the literature produced two kinds of material to be tested on the40line segmentation effect research.The second part is the study of aesthetic effect.Materials and methods with illusion effects on the same.Based on the analysis of experimental data, draw the following conclusions:1) Helmholtz argues that the "horizontal lines with vertical line graphics was narrow." this conclusion is one-sided, which kind of direction line appears narrow is to divide a case.Helmholtz square all together and made a comparison, narrow width and narrow spacing square is the narrowest vertical stripes (P<0.01)2) Segmentation of visual illusion in the clothing of the effect is reflected not only in the horizontal direction, but also the line width and spacing.On the whole, when the garment is narrow width and narrow spacing vertical stripes, with the best cultivation effect (P<0.01).3) Overall, narrow width, with wide spacing between horizontal lines clothing is best; medium width, narrow spaced horizontal lines of clothing is not good.Horizontal lines are vertical lines appear good-looking (P<0.01)4) Clothing horizontal lines illusion effect and aesthetic effect of a significant positive relationship between (P<0.01),The thin line of clothing is more beautiful.The value of this study has two aspects of theory and practice.In theory, further refinement and validation of the classical theory of psychology; clear the existing theory is contradictory; rich psychology, aesthetics and art theory research content.In practice, to consumers to buy striped dress with enlightenment; to promote the healthy development of enterprises and costume designer clothing; clothing treatment to provide some help.The innovation of this paper lies in:1) Novel quantitative method of visual illusion of clothing;2) Expand the clothing psychology research field, to quantify the "aesthetic effect"...
