This paper analyzes the diversity and imperfect of cultural resources accepted by Zhang Chengzhi,and analyzes the complexity and transformation of his cultural standpoint, in order to clearly grasp the spiritual content of his creation.The thesis consists of an introduction, conclusion, and is divided into three chapters:Introductory section focuses on the spiritual content of Zhang Chengzhi’s creation, introduces the research status, reason, and the content and methods.The first chapter describes the many changes of Zhang Chengzhi’s cultural attitude. The Red Guards to the educated youth, the pursuit of maternal love to the the father’s will, the suspicion of the Chinese culture to the understanding of the national culture, the impact of political culture, folk culture, blood culture affected his cultural awareness,his cultural standpoint and perspective of critical always changed.The second chapter describes the conflict of Zhang Chengzhi’s identity acceptance. On the whole, impact of diversity of acceptable to the cultural and complexity of the way, let him difficultly make self-identity. The conflict of Han and Hui identity,the contradiction of stance of intellectuals and civil stand, the Religious zeal and the Writers rational, constitute the main reason for tearing Zhang Chengzhi heart.The third chapter describes the efforts and contradictions of Zhang Chengzhi’s religious language. He wants to completely return to the embrace of the religion, and make religious belief as methods of resolving contradictions as to save the self-ideal. However, the strong cultural awareness is his insurmountable obstacles. Although he made a lot of efforts on structure and form, but his faith is not a purely religious,there are a lot of mistakes.on narrative stance and expression.
