| Beijing School refers to a literary school which consists of the1930s’writers who flourished in Beiping. At the time, Beijing School did not take the form of conscious literary group.However, those literators, who is advocating the freedom of thought, keeping away from politics, and having the similar living conditions, come together in the special period, because of the common literary ideas, aesthetic ideal and artistic pursuit. During that period, Beijing School is not the most important literary school. Nevertheless, as time go on, those writers get the researchers’attention in the new period. While Beijing School is recognized and understood gradually, the women writers of Beijing School is still stay the edge of research field.The female writers of Beijing School is the indispensable part of Beijing School. At the same time, they constitute a particular branch of female literature during the period of the May4th Movement. Therefore, their literary creations have great research value. But the researchers are usually treating them as an ordinary member of Beijing School, for analyzing the content, theme, style, aesthetic feature and aesthetic ideology of Beijing School. They discuss Ling Shuhua or Lin Huiyin, moreover, as an individual writer. The researches, which regard the female writers as an unique whole, not only are very weak, but also biased toward narrative and artistic level. In fact, by the era environment, the female writers of Beijing School already accepted the education of Chinese traditional culture, as well as are attracted to western modern thought. Both the Chinese and the Western culture influence their literary creations deeply.This paper is based on the cultural rupture background of that special period. Then,from three aspects, which are the intertwined traditional and modern culture, the point of view on women and the writing of gender, the aristocratic and elitist tendency, to discuss the impact on the female writers of Beijing School’s psychology, thoughts and ideas, which is caused by the dual culture between east and west, and the performance of the impact in their literary creations. |
